Congratulations and kudos to the seven individual talents, who provided bike rack submissions to be manufactured and installed by the Downtown Development Commission (DDC).

Judged by Shane Sellers, artist, instructor at Frederick Community College and avid bicyclist, each design was chosen based upon originality, functionality, ease of manufacturing, etc.  The competition was held at the Arteco Gallery on October 17, 2009.  Each artist receive $500.

The People's Choice Award winner, Samuel Wakefield, was voted upon by people attending the exhibition.
