FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Mountain Maryland Trails Board of Directors
July 25, 2011
The Mountain Maryland Trails Board of Directors wishes to announce three “celebrity” bartending events being planned to wrap up the summer/early autumn season in Frostburg and Cumberland. Each participating business supports unlimited tips for its guest bartender, as well as drink specials and a percentage of the evening’s total sales. Maureen Brewer, Frostburg First Main Street Manager, will do the honors on Saturday, August 6, at Giuseppe’s in Frostburg; Pam Cover, City of Cumberland’s Executive Assistant to the Mayor, City Council and acting City Administrator, will be on tap at Savage River Lodge, Friday, September 9, and Amy Shillingburg, owner of Rusco Home Improvements, will handle the task at Niner’s Canal Pub, Friday, October 7. All events will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
With trail usage on the rise and increasing regional interest, events such as this have become a mainstay to promote and support this important economic driver. Details are available by visiting www.mmtrails.org or by contacting Mountain Maryland Trail Board Member Pam Cover at
