Volunteers Being Sought

Have you ever stopped to wonder how the Great Allegheny Passage became the premiere tourist destination that it currently is?

If you answered, "through the commitment of many without the promise of financial gain", you're absolutely right.  The hundreds of volunteers who used their talents and expertise to get the trail built have now passed the torch to the next generation to maintain it's sustainable economic impact.

A few hours each week or each month is all that is needed and has the potential of making a HUGE difference.  Please contact Trail Towns Manager Bill Atkinson if you're available to help in any way.  He may be reached by calling 301.697.8506 or by e-mail at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
